Drone Look at AdventHealth Sebring’s Massive Hospital Expansion

Every great healthcare expansion starts with the infrastructure that powers it. Take an aerial look at the incredible progress on the AdventHealth Sebring Tower Expansion, where the L.E.B.S. Electric team is proud to provide the electrical systems supporting one of the region’s most significant healthcare projects.

This expansion includes:
• A new three-story patient tower addition, with one floor completed and two additional floors planned for future growth.
• A major expansion of the Central Energy Plant.
• Installation of two new 2-megawatt emergency generators.
• A new utility service.
• Permanent power infrastructure for a mobile MRI unit.
• Integration of new emergency power systems while transitioning the existing Emergency Distribution Plant into a new design.
• A new fire alarm system throughout the facility.

Projects of this scale require exceptional planning, coordination, safety, and craftsmanship. We’re honored to work alongside AdventHealth, Brasfield & Gorrie, and TLC Engineering Solutions to help transform Sebring Hospital from 171 to 275 inpatient beds, expanding access to quality healthcare for the community for years to come.

L.E.B.S. Electric Powers Major AdventHealth Sebring Expansion and the Future of Patient Care

Our L.E.B.S. Electric team recently completed extensive work on the AdventHealth Sebring Tower Expansion (AHSTE), a major project designed to strengthen the hospital today and prepare it for continued growth.

The expansion includes a three-story addition to the existing bed tower, with one floor fully built out and two additional floors planned for the future. Our work also included a major addition to the existing Central Energy Plant, two new 2-megawatt generators, and a new utility service.

A permanent power system was necessary for a mobile MRI unit, new generators were integrated to replace the existing generator systems and capture the old Emergency Distribution Plant into a new design, and we installed a new fire alarm system throughout the entire building.

Projects of this size and complexity take tremendous planning, coordination and craftsmanship. We’re proud to work with AdventHealth, Brassfield & Gorrie, and TLC Engineers to expand patient care in Sebring.

But wait, there’s more. Stay tuned for the next phases that will add more than 100,000 square feet of new clinical space, advancing the technology used to diagnose and treat heart disease and expand the hospital’s capacity, transforming Sebring Hospital from 171 to 275 inpatient beds.
